Most, if not
all, of the recommendations from the research that the University of Delaware did related to older drivers is beneficial to all drivers.

About the Campaign
The Roadway Safety Foundation (RSF) and the University of Delaware’s Institute for Public Administration (IPA) launched the Safe and Mobile Delaware campaign on January 13, 2010, in Wilmington, Del. The highlight of the campaign is a half-hour documentary on older driver safety that will air on WHYY TV in February.
See video preview and PSAs at Press Room.
Also featured in the campaign are true/false– and multiple choice–style radio and television public service announcements that educate listeners/viewers about older driver safety and steer them to the website
for additional information.
Among other things, the campaign promotes the findings of a May 2007 IPA report titled “Assessing the Needs of Delaware’s Older Drivers” and reports on recommendations that have been made since the report was published or are in the process of being made.
Partner organizations include AARP and AAA Mid-Atlantic, with technical assistance provided by Teleduction of Wilmington, Del., and the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT).
